Organization for Research and Community Development (ORCD), Afghanistan Steering Committee representative: Qudratullah Nasrat, Chief Executive OfficerDr Qudratullah Nasrat is an Afghan Medical Doctor having
master’s (MPH) in international public health from the University of Liverpool.
He has around 16 years of experience in different disciplines within health
system by working with various national and international organization in
Afghanistan and Pakistan. Presently, he is the Chief Executive Officer of
Organization for Research and Community Development (ORCD) which he founded in
2011. ORCD being the only Afghan NGO having Special
Consultative Status with ECOSOC/United Nations since 2015, has implemented more
than 31 medium to large scale projects in partnership with the Government of
Afghanistan as well as various UN agencies in the field of health, nutrition,
rural development, protection, women empowerment, and refugees. Representing ORCD, Dr Nasrat has remained elected member of various national level forums including the Country Coordination Mechanism (CCM), Humanitarian Country Team (HCT), Co-Chair and member of the Strategic Advisory Group of Health Cluster, White Ribbon Alliance (WRA), Steering Committee of Alliance of Health Organizations (AHO). |
