Bertrand Kampoer has a dozen years of experience in planning, management, monitoring and evaluation of health projects. He has been working on HSS for about twelves years and for eight years on immunization issues. With his local organization in Cameroon, (For Impacts in Social Health), he succeeded increasing immunization coverage by 20 points in a Rural Health District in two years. Between January 2014 and march 2015, he leads the implementation of the Cameroon Gavi HSS 1 grant, in its component ‘’ generating the demand for services”. Bertrand also work as International Consultant for many international health agencies such as, WHO, The Global Fund, Stop TB Partnership, UNAIDS. To date, he has completed more than 20 evaluation and technical assistance missions in west and central Africa, on health and community system strengthening, keys populations, gender and human right.  For the past three years, he is leading in Cameroon, an advocacy campaign on UHC. Bertrand has civil society representative experience that is more than 15 years. In 2006, he was vice Co chair of the Stop TB ACSM (Advocacy Communication and Social Mobilization) Working Group. Between 2006 - 2008, he was member of the Global Fund Board, Communities Delegation. Most recently in 2018, he was member of the Civil Society Advisory Committee for the TB UN High Level Meeting and actually WHO Civil Society Task Force on TB. Bertrand participation on the Gavi CSO Steering Committee is supported by OAFRESS. A regional network in Francophone Africa present in 18 countries in West Africa, Central, and Madagascar coordinated by National Platforms, with mission of Increasing the effective participation of Francophone Civil Society Organizations in immunization and the health system. Bertrand has a Masters in Public Health (Health Promotion) from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lorraine, Nancy School of Public Health in France.
